Contract collection of gas and groundwater data
As well as monitoring our own sites, BRD also offer to collect monitoring data on behalf of other geo-environmental consultants.
Gas monitoring is undertaken with a Gas Data instrument for readings of methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, atmospheric pressure, flow rate and temperature. Gas samples for laboratory analysis can also be collected in dedicated sampling bags.
Groundwater levels can be recorded by dip meter or interface meter as required. Groundwater sampling for laboratory analysis can be arranged through use of bailers, inertia pumps, passive samplers or discrete level samplers as required.
Need a Photo Ionisation detector? BRD can supply a Technician equipped with a PID to your site to undertake monitoring, spike survey or head space testing as required.
On site surface/ground water analysis of temperature, redox potential, total dissolved solids, electrical conductivity and dissolved oxygen can be undertaken.
