  • Management Plan

Start with a survey and then get the plan together

Once you realise you may have knotweed on site, the starting point for any knotweed job is getting an expert survey undertaken.  Within 100 miles radius of Banbury, BRD will visit your site for free to survey the knotweed as without seeing it we can not provide advice on the best management method.  we are happy to travel further afield, but would need to make a charge to cover our travel expenses

An expert from BRD can visit the site to view the knotweed so we can understand how the plant may have introduced, the approximate length of time the knotweed had been established, the extent of knotweed clone, check that there are no other infested areas and identify potential constraints to treatment.

Unlike our competitors, BRD do not push  one particular type of treatment and instead present a variety of appropriate options for eradication of the knotweed.    Through discussion with the Client of the pros and cons of each approach, we can develop a suitable way forward.  Once agreed, BRD draw up the formal management plan in accordance with Environment Agency guidelines.
