BRD Overview
Established in 2000, BRD is a geo-environmental consultancy and contractor.
The wealth of expertise within BRD encompasses the entire land development cycle, from initial planning issues through ground investigation to remediation design and delivery. In particular the two principal consultants each have over twenty five years experience in identifying and addressing environmental and geotechnical ground hazards.
Our varied experience in the property industry means that we are also able to advise our clients about development implications, demolition constraints together with realistic and cost effective remedial solutions.
BRD’s commitment to providing a quality high value service is demonstrated by our extensive list of repeat customers including developers, local and national house builders, contractors, utility companies, local authorities, consultants, land agents and individual land owners. BRD’s client base has grown almost solely through recommendations from existing customers.
With the knowledge that our staff are the key to providing excellent customer service, BRD are committed to investment in training. Technical training is provided through exchange of knowledge within the organisation together with attendance at appropriate conferences and courses.
Through active involvement with the Contaminated Land Working Group of the Environment Industries Commission (EIC), BRD helps to influence the shaping of legislation and guidance that affects our area of expertise.
BRD is also an active member of the Invasive Weeds group of the Property Care Association (PCA) associated with it’s Japanese Knotweed contracting service.
